El uso de las facultades que le concede al Arq. 103 del Estatuto Orgánico, el Dr. Carlos Escandón ha nombrado con fecha 22 de octubre de 1990 al Lic. Mariano Azuela Güitrón como miembro del Tribunal Universitario en sustitución del Dr. Miguel Villoro Toranzo, recientemente fallecido.
